I am an experienced investor and am looking for ways to increase my real estate holdings. I have heard that you can raise private money to fund purchases and would like to know how.

Set up a real estate investment income fund.
If you need too much money, investors won’t be interested. You need to sell a good idea, form partnerships with the investors. No intelligent person will give you money without a binding contract as to who gets what and how often. However, if you are experienced and have any significant holdings why not borrow off of the properties? That is cash out some equity to make another significant investment. Never go with partners unless you know them well. I find this to be a bad idea Good luck.
